Interpersonal relationship in education

Interaction is absolutely important between teacher and students. Well-defined the students’ level, prior knowledge and the interest that teacher need to admire.

“The nature and quality of children’s relationships with teacher’s action shows motivating and engaging students to learn” (Wentzel, 2009).

Effective teachers are typically described as those who develop relationships with students that are emotionally close, safe, and trusting, who provide access to instrumental help, and who foster a more general ethos of community and caring. One big reason that I become a kindergarten teacher is that many intelligent and smart young learners I have met but they seems to me any happiness and satisfaction even they are just 7 years old. They learn so many things and followed the daily routine without any reasons like a robot. I believe these relationship of qualities are supported the development of students’ motivational orientations for social and academic outcomes, aspects of motivation related to emotional wellbeing and a positive sense of self, and levels of engagement in positive social and academic activities. To showing them how much teacher loves the students, whenever teacher opens wild mind to the students, they always give it back to teacher they never ignore the teacher’s love.

Planning and organize instruction

Teacher’s planing is definitely important for clarifying the specific and powerful faith each students in future goals.  The educational process closely linked to teachers’ strategies.

“Effective teachers reinforce their focus on instruction through their allocation of time to the teaching and learning process, and through their expectations for student learning" (Brophy & Good, 1986).

The teacher’s organize planing and clarifying specific goals drag the students are motivated during the lesson. Teacher need to determine the contents and skills are delivered in the classroom. For the effective teaching, I organizing and preparing materials for the instruction have been dealing as important aspects to me. Especially young learners, visual and tactile materials essential to creating and maintaining which could support and develop their skills and also, it’s easier to accept and understand the acknowledge using materials.

Teacher’s expecting for student’s achievement encourage the students motivation for that we could Identify the abilities of students’ strengths and weaknesses as well as their interest levels teacher consider.

The power of questions

Asking questions may seem a simple task, it is perhaps the most powerful tool we possess as teachers. The question teacher can take to begin improving the students thinking skills by the question asking. The good questions should be involved that motivate students learning and fuel curiosity. And also, stimulate critical thinking that for foster intellectual development.

The questions must be included many befits such as thinking skills, build their acquisition of knowledge.  Providing effective questioning is that as an ensemble, and to build a teaching community through professional interaction. Produce more creative question ‘What if?’, which the students can build thinking skills and encourage their learning. The question should be made the students think deeply and they use follow up the question that they imagine with opening up fresh new possibilities and idea.

The thing important teacher’s attitude, helping student feel more comfortable and confident with answering questions. When if asking ones of their own ideas from the students, easily teacher can use the scaffold. In my experience, to scaffold individually the students accumulate the knowledge by searching the internet or using own their prior knowledge.  They also work in pair work and group and than, discuss about the issues in whole of the class. This allows all to have their voices heard and also gives them a chance to practice their responses before sharing in front of the whole class.

Conclusion

High expectations are identified as a key component of student success (Cotton, 2000; Education USA Special Report) I believe that teaching should be a dynamic process that allows teachers and students to constantly challenge themselves to learn and grow. Learning process should be well collaborated as be talented a teacher should produce the students with well organization of teaching goal and teaching method by the leaners’ learning style and cognitively teacher’s effective questioning also very important.

From teachers’ attitude, understanding and making a good relationship goes the first step in the class. Giving opportunities to think and solve there problems using own their ideas which I would give them equal participation to grow their learning skills and attitudes in the class. And the students must be center to control the class. Teacher attitudes are setting up the learning environment be enjoyed and guidance toward to get the goal.

Actually In Korea, not familiar to make the students feel free during class. Because It more general teacher controls in center. But I believe that student’s more in center to make them be confident in many ways and also they met various acquire during solving their problems which is better way to do in educational teaching.
